Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Overview

Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekend rotation required
No on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Highlights

Provides direct nursing care in the ED
Performs clinical procedures including IVs, Foley catheter care, and dressings
Documents assessments thoroughly and accurately
Supports patient and family education
Uses tele monitoring, IV, ventilator, and safe medication administration practices
Recognizes changes in patient condition and reports errors or near misses
Works independently and collaboratively, with initiative and follow-up
