RN PACU

Overview

  • Location: West Burlington, Iowa
  • Employment type: LTA
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 08:00 - 20:30

Role Summary

  • Provides post-anesthesia nursing care in phase I and phase II recovery, with transition to inpatient or intensive care settings as needed.
  • Includes on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Iowa
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License
  • Experience with Epic

  • Telemetry strip self-study is required upon acceptance, with a basic dysrhythmia test-out during the first week
  • Professional references: 2 total, including 1 supervisor reference
