RN - ICU - Contract

Overview

  • ICU registered nurse role in New York, New York
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 3x12, every other weekend, variable shifts
  • Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Hours per week: 34.5
  • Unit size: 8 beds
  • Average unit census: 8
  • Staffing ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
  • Neuro ICU experience within the last year
  • Stroke experience
  • Experience with EVD (External Ventricular Drain)
  • Experience with Lumbar Drains
  • Experience with Irraflow EVD RAUMEDIC
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year travel experience for Travel positions

Schedule Notes

  • Every other weekend
  • Fourth shift per month for the listed schedule

Additional Notes

  • Charge nurse duties may be assigned
  • EPIC experience is highly preferred
  • Travel positions require 1 year of travel experience; not required for per diem positions
