Emergency Department RN
Location
- Paducah, Kentucky
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 3 shifts per week
- 2nd shift: 12p–12a
- Weekends and holidays required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- PALS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Provide direct patient care, treatments, and nursing rounds
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Educate patients and families
- Collaborate with the care team and support unit-based quality improvement activities
Additional Details
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with the care team
- Must be able to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
- Computer system familiarity and ability to be trained is expected
