Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including rounds, treatments, and patient/family education
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
- Delegate and oversee patient care tasks appropriately
- Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team and patients/families
