Description

RN - Behavioral Health

Location

Holyoke, Massachusetts

Contract

Travel assignment
13 weeks
40 hours per week
Orientation is biweekly on Tuesdays
Block scheduling is not available
Weekend coverage is every other weekend or as needed
No call required
Float required
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
1 year of experience in Behavioral Health
BLS
HWC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Inpatient Behavioral Health setting

Preferred

ACLS certification

Setting and Patient Population

Inpatient behavioral health unit
Works with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
Must be willing to work with both adult and pediatric care

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
Develop nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
Participate in discharge planning

Additional Details

Blue scrubs required
Cerner is used for the EHR
