RN - MS/Tele - Nights
Overview
- Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
- Location: West Burlington, Iowa
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Estimated work week: 36 hours, with possible overtime
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care to geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients.
- Positions are available on the Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
- Traveler must self-study telemetry strips before start and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to work on the telemetry/med surg unit.
- Candidate may be asked to float to other campuses.
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS
- NIH Certification
- CPI/MOAB
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
