Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Garfield Heights, Ohio
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:30 PM–7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment also accepted; 18 weeks listed for winter coverage
• Auto offer available

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, charge RN, or director in the specialty

Assessments During Orientation

• ECG rhythm recognition test
• SafeMedicate
• Passing scores are required for both

Scheduling Notes

• Start date, requested time off, scheduling, and shift details must be accurate at submission and cannot be changed after an offer is presented
• Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s are available

Onboarding / Compliance

• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification required
• Primary source verification of RN license within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• TB screening required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Flu documentation required for seasonal compliance
• Eye exam required within 1 year of start
• Skills checklist required annually
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
