Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Must be able to circulate General/GYN/Urology/PV cases, including bowel resections, laparoscopic cases, daVinci Xi cases, urology (open & scope), peripheral vascular, bariatrics, GYN (open and vaginal), c-sections, lap appy, and lap chole.
• Must be able to circulate ortho cases, including total joints with or without MAKO robot (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), arthroscopy, and ortho trauma.
• Must be able to circulate Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics cases, including trach, ENT (T&A, BMT, or FESS), plastics, breast reductions, spine fusions, laminectomy, crani, facial fractures, laryngoscopy/bronchoscopy, and neck dissections.
• RN scrubbing is not required.
• Floating is required to the Outpatient Surgery Center across campus.
• Must have worked for Marshfield previously only if there is an end date at least 6 months before submission.

Preferred

• Experience with the facility’s night shift
• Experience with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts

Schedule

• Primarily day shift
• RNs do one week of PMs approximately every 5 weeks
• Night shift is possible with experience at the facility
• 1-2 nights per week of call
• 1 weekend of call approximately every 5-6 weekends
• At least 1 holiday per year
• No blocked schedule

Additional Details

• Charge RN is always present in the OR
• The department is staffed 24/7/365 with a minimum of one RN and one ST
• OR techs are used
• Call response time is 30 minutes for call team 1 and 45 minutes for call teams 2 through 4
• Unit orientation includes 2-3 days with an educator plus 1-2 weeks of case-flow and case-specific learning
• Scrub color is navy blue and provided via Cintas vending at no cost
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
