Emergency Dept RN
Overview
- Travel RN position in Martinsville, Virginia
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 1 opening
- 16-week contract
- Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays
Unit / Department
- Emergency Department
- 34 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Serves all ages
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI
- NIHSS
- PALS
Schedule / Availability
- Weekend hours: as needed/every other
- Call requirements: as needed
- Float requirements: as needed
Experience / Skills
- Emergency Room experience
Common Diagnoses / Treatments
- Chest Pain
- CHF
- COPD

Additional Notes
- EHR: Medhost
- Random drug screening is required on site
- Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form must be completed
