Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to read and interpret heart rhythms
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience

The unit cares for patients across the life span and requires age-appropriate assessment and care
The role includes patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, patient/family education, delegation, documentation, and coordination with the care team
The nurse attends at least eight monthly staff meetings annually and participates in unit/hospital committees and continuous performance improvement
