RN Medical / Surgical/ Telemetry

Overview

• Location: West Burlington, Iowa
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Estimated work week: 36 hours, with the possibility of overtime

Role Summary

• This role is on the Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
• The traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
• Patient populations include Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
• The traveler may be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus.
• The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• NIH Certification
• CPI/MOAB
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic
