Registered Nurse — MS/Tele

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Orangeburg, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted if within 60 miles

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule / Work Expectations

• Ratio: 1:6
• On-call is not required
• Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed

• Acute care hospital
• New unit with 18 beds
• Epic charting
• Parking is free

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

• Copy of driver’s license or state ID
• Copy of Social Security card
• Work authorization attestation and I-9 documentation as applicable
• Education verification
• Background check
• OFAC, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks
• 2 clinical references

• Skills checklist
• Annual physical exam
• Tdap within 10 years or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Color blindness testing
• Respirator clearance
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption, if applicable to the season
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination, if applicable
• Badge photo
• Signed job description
• Orientation modules before start
• Radiation badge if required by unit

• Hurricane season runs June through November, and travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during that period
