Job Overview
- Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Specialty: Medical-surgical telemetry nursing
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Patient ratio: 1:5–6
- Floating: Required within scope to like units/sister facilities
- On-call: Not required
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Local candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Previous charge experience
- Community hospital experience
Additional Notes
- Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- Candidates should be prepared for hurricane-season emergency response assignments if needed
