NICU

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in San Francisco, California
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
No call
Every other weekend
Float scope: peds, picu, nursery

Unit / Clinical Setting

Level III NICU
Surgical population
Cares for 23 weeks and up
Clinical capabilities include cooling, all respiratory modes, PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insert

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Additional Notes

Background check required within 6 months of start
Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
TB screening and immunization documentation are required
Physical exam, fit mask, drug screen, and respiratory safety clearance are required before start
References are not required by the facility, but Aya requires them for clearance
