Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Los Banos, California.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• 36 hours per week.
• Weekends are included in the rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• 2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Compliance and Onboarding

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start.
• California Medi-Cal search is required only if monthly FACIS III cannot be run.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG are required.
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start.
• State license verification required within 30 days of start.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit mask test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually.
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season.
• Color vision screening required before start.
• Employment application must include full 7-year work history with no gaps.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• References are required by the staffing agency.

Certifications and Documents

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS must be AHA or ARC.
• Candidate must review and sign required facility documents before start.
