Step Down RN Travel Contract
Location
- Charlottesville, Virginia
Assignment Details
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 13-week contract
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved
- Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Unit Overview
- Acute and intermediate care unit for thoracic, cardiac, and vascular surgical patients
- 28-bed unit with 22 acute-care beds and 6 intermediate care beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 4–5:1 in acute care and 3:1 in intermediate care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown (2 years of experience)
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Scheduling Notes
- Must adhere to float policy
- Time off around July 4th cannot be approved
