Overview

• Travel/contract role in Castro Valley, California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Role Details

• MS TELE Float Pool Traveler needed
• Will float to multiple MS/Tele and MS units within scope of practice
• Based at Eden Medical Center

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Float experience within the last year
• 2 years of float experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex Offender Search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• California Medi-Cal search required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• HHS/OIG required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps
• Work history verification required for up to 7 years of employment history
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Candidate must review and sign required pre-start documents
