Overview
- Travel contract in California, San Luis Obispo.
- 13-week assignment.
- 8-hour day shifts.
Unit Details
- OR unit with 7 OR suites.
- About 15-20 cases per day.
- Floating: no.
Required Qualifications
- 2 full years of OR experience.
- Active BLS.
- CST.
Preferred
- Travel experience.
- Scrubbing is preferred for RN's.
Additional Notes
- Common cases include high-volume ortho, total joints, general, gyn, peds, and eyes; travelers will not be put in on cardiac cases.
- Weekend requirement for CST's: one weekend of call per month.
- Call requirement for CST's: 1 call night per week.
- Call response time: 30 minutes.
- Holidays are only required in emergencies.
- Scrubs are provided.
- Cerner Surginet is used.
- RT is available 24/7.
- Pharmacy is not available 24/7.
