Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Overview

• Outpatient Endoscopy center focused on elective outpatient procedures
• Unit: Somerville Endoscopy
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekends
• Flu vaccine required during season
• Shift: rotating
• Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

• 4 procedure rooms
• 5 pre-op bays
• 5 PACU bays
• Common patient diagnoses include colon cancer screenings and rectal bleed
• Patients: 18–95

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Travel experience must be documented
• Current Massachusetts RN license, current or conditional
• NURSYS Verification Report showing all licenses (past or present) pulled within the last 7 days
• Up-to-date resume
• 2 recent manager/supervisor references matching specialty
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver’s license with address matching demographics
• RTO must be included at time of submission

Preferred Qualifications

• SGNA certification
• EPIC experience
• First-time travelers may be considered

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
