Inpatient Rehab RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in inpatient rehab
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Shift: Days
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
- Weekend hours: every other weekend
- Call: No
- Openings: 1
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
- Unit has 13 beds
- Patient ratio: 1 RN to 6
- Float scope: MedSurg as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- 1 year of rehabilitation experience
- Acute Care experience
- Iowa SING background check required, including criminal and child abuse portions
- All background checks must be fully cleared before start
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult required
- 10-panel drug screen including opiates required
- Titers within the last 12 months required for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
- BLS
Preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- MedSurg experience preferred
- LTAC experience preferred
Additional Details
- Equipment: lift equipment
- EHR: Meditech
- Common diagnoses/treatments include neuro, trauma, burn, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac
- Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
