Labor and Delivery
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Manassas, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Local candidates are treated the same as travel candidates
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Experience circulating for C-sections
- Experience with C-section recovery
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- EFM: intermediate preferred, advanced acceptable
Additional Compliance Items
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
- Employment application
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit, updated annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative Qgold (QFT) within 30 days of start
- TB questionnaire, updated annually
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Photo for badge
- Contingent Worker Form
- Annual TB screening assessment
- Hep B declination if needed for negative/equivocal titers
- Flu exemption forms if requesting a medical or religious exemption
