Position Details

Unit Details

• Patient Population: Hospital-based Outpatient Lymphedema
• Collaboration: Work with OTs/OTAs, PT/PTAs, SLP, and wound care clinic staff.
• Patient Demographics: Young/middle adults to geriatrics with a mix of diagnoses requiring lymphedema care.

Schedule

• Standard Hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday: 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Alternative Schedule Option:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekend and Call: None required
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
• Required Skills/Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Certification in lymphedema (for OTs)
  • Licensed in the state of Georgia (license must be in hand)
  • Outpatient experience
  • Familiarity with EPIC

Preferred Skills

• Acute inpatient experience

Compliance and Documentation

• Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push back start date by 2 weeks.
• Background Check: Required within 30 days of start.
• References: 2 clinical references needed.
• Health Documents:

  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Flu and COVID vaccinations or declinations
  • Drug screening
  • Various immunization records (e.g., Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella)

• Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period.
• Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually.
• Education Verification: Required for related degree noted on application.
