Travel RN Opportunity – Med/Surg/Ortho

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Facility: HCA HealthONE Aurora (Medical Center of Aurora)

Unit Information

Unit: Medical Center of Aurora, Unit 632
Number of Beds: 345
Staff Float Pool: Approximately 80
Shifts:
- Day Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
- Night Shift: RNs and CNAs on most units
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
Equipment: Various medical equipment
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Preferred Skills

Strong Telemetry experience (minimum 2 years)
Chemo Certification (preferred for Oncology unit scheduling)

Typical Procedures and Patient Population

Large cardiac patient population
Two telemetry floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Floating to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
