Travel RN Opportunity - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: San Jose, California
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Number of Beds: 10
Number of Staff: 120
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters, Unit Clerk, Scrub Tech (staffing varies by patient census)
- Night Shift: Similar staffing as day shift
Patient Ratios: Per California Title 22 regulations
Typical Procedures: Deliveries, C-sections, other L&D or related cases
EMR System: Meditech / CPN

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in nursing
Licenses: California Registered Nurse License required
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Resume: Required at submission

Preferred Candidate Profile

Skills: Candidates without required certifications and licenses will not be considered
Personality: Team player
Dress Code: Scrubs (specific color/attire details not provided)
Work Schedule: Rotating weekends based on Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
Additional Notes: Floating within the unit as needed
