CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Aventura, Florida

Unit Information

• Unit: Aventura Medical Center – CT Tech
• Number of Beds: 18
• Staffing:

  • Total Staff: 8
  • Types of Staff: Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs
  • Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs (varies by volume)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, fluoroscopy
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Strong preference for experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR

Preferred Qualifications

• RT (T) certification
• ASRT membership
• FASRT certification

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
