Travel RN Opportunity – CVOR Nurse
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Facility: CJW Medical Center (HCA Healthcare)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Information
- Hospital: Chippenham Hospital, Levinson Heart Hospital - CVOR
- Unit: CVOR, 4th Floor
- Unit Hours: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
- Call: Starts at 03:00 PM when assigned; weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday (when assigned)
Job Requirements & Skills
Requested Skill Set:
- Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related mediastinal procedures
- Experience with thoracic surgery cases including daVinci-assisted procedures
- Skilled in open thoracotomy, VATS, ECMO initiation, and pericardial window procedures
- Ability to take call as required
Advanced Skills Needed:
- Cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement, repair of aortic dissections, TAVRs
- Thoracic surgery such as daVinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsy
- ECMO procedures
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
