    Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

    Location: Aurora, Colorado
    Facility: HCA HealthONE Aurora CO (Medical Center of Aurora)
    Employment Type: Travel
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Unit Overview

    • Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
    • Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
    • Staff: 16 total
    • Shifts:
      • Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
      • Night Shift: Rotating on-call
    • Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in Cath Lab procedural area
    • Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
    • EMR System: Meditech

    Required Skills and Experience

    • ACLS certification
    • 1-2 years Cath Lab experience
    • Scrub and monitoring skills

    Preferred Skills

    • EP/Structural Heart monitoring skills
    • Right Heart monitoring
    • Positive attitude

    Typical Procedures

    • Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
    • Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
    • EP ablations
    • Pacemakers (Pacers)
    • Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs)
    • Cardioversions
    • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
    • Tilt Table Tests
