Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Facility: WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital
Hospital System: Bingham Memorial Hospital - Locums
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule:
- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
- Call: 8-10 days per month, including 1-2 weekends of call per month
- Holidays as needed
- Unit Info:
- Community hospital with 2 cath labs
- Procedures include cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and PCI
- 24/7 coverage with STEMI call responsibilities
- Additional Info:
- May care for COVID-19 patients
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- EPIC experience required
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Credentialing & Compliance Requirements
Background & Screening
- 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
- PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; must be renewed every 5 years
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (Childline) required within 5 years of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- 2 professional references within 3 years
- Education verification of highest degree/diploma/transcripts
- Employment application and skills checklist (annual)
Health & Immunization
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD/DO/NP/PA
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days; PPD not accepted
- Vaccinations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Seasonal Flu vaccine (or medical/religious exemption) during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine or exemption accepted
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
Facility-Specific Documents & Training
- Clear passport-style photo for badge

Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
Interview & Hiring Process
- Clinical pre-screen to determine fit
- Manager interview for final decision
Notes
- Candidates must complete fingerprinting and Childline checks in Pennsylvania; results can be pending at start but must be finalized within 45 days or assignment will be terminated
- Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; candidates should be notified prior to submission
- Candidate must be able to work in a community hospital setting with cardiac cath lab procedures and STEMI call coverage
