CT Tech Travel Position - Saint Louis, Missouri
Position Overview
- Specialty: CT Tech
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
- Shift: Variable; 4 shifts of 10 hours each
- Shift Hours: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday (night shift)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: None
- Call Requirements: None

Contract Length
- Duration: 26 weeks
Required Certifications and Licensure
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRA)
- ARRT(CT) registry
- Missouri Radiologic Technologist License
Experience
- 1-2+ years working in Emergency Department setting
- Experience with trauma, stroke, CT angiography (CTA), and perfusion preferred
Unit and Equipment
- Department: Radiology
- Equipment: GE Revolution (256 slices) newest platform and Siemens CT scanners
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patient Population: Emergency Department patients including trauma, stroke, CTA, and perfusion cases
Job Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist
- Use independent judgment and initiative to obtain optimal image quality
- Responsible for all aspects of CT imaging, including anatomical positioning and technical factor adjustments
- Prioritize patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort
- Manipulate patient transfer equipment and assist with patient movement
- Recognize emergency situations and adapt to a fast-paced workload
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to manipulate patient and transfer equipment
- Capable of continual standing and walking during shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to recognize emergency situations
- Preferred: Knowledge of CTA and perfusion imaging
Education
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced emergency department setting
- Requires physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and moving patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
