Travel CT Technologist - Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Arkansas

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: September 2025
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Scheduled shifts: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Wednesday
Job Summary
The CT Technologist provides timely diagnostic CT imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
Requirements
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist (R) or CT Technologist (CT)
- Arkansas State License (can be obtained easily with ARRT certification)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT specialty preferred
- Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scans and related imaging procedures
- Knowledge of CT system processing and cross-sectional anatomy
- Assist with surgical/sterile procedures and studies with or without contrast media
- Provide imaging services in various settings including OR and portable environments
Additional Information
- Position is for night shifts with a specific schedule
- Travelers must submit complete information including home address and SSN for consideration
- The CT Technologist must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and licensed as a general radiographer in Arkansas
