Job Summary

The CT Technologist provides timely diagnostic CT imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist (R) or CT Technologist (CT)
• Arkansas State License (can be obtained easily with ARRT certification)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT specialty preferred
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scans and related imaging procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing and cross-sectional anatomy
• Assist with surgical/sterile procedures and studies with or without contrast media
• Provide imaging services in various settings including OR and portable environments

• Position is for night shifts with a specific schedule
