Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Job Details

• Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks from offer (to meet compliance requirements)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 4x10 hour shifts (08:00 - 18:30) with on-call duties
• On-Call: Rotating weekday and every 3rd weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience, must have prior travel experience
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Epic Charting: Yes (facility uses Epic, but Epic experience is not required)
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending License Accepted: Yes (requests must be submitted)
• Block Schedule: No

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• CCI RCIS or ARRT R (specific to Radiology/Cardiology roles)

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS and BLS (ARC or AHA accepted; Provider, Instructor, and RQI also accepted)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as required
• NIH Stroke Certification (required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN roles)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for dialysis/kidney center roles)
• Competency Exam (as applicable)

Facility-Specific Documents

• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist
• Confidentiality statement
• Flu vaccine exemption forms (medical or religious) if applicable
• Dosimeter request form (for Imaging Department only)

Health Documents

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (QGold within 1 year; chest X-ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 week of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season Oct-Mar)

Background & History

• 7-year background check within 1 year of start (updated annually)
• Two professional references verified within 2 years (specific reference requirements for inpatient RNs)

• Travel experience is mandatory; first-time travelers will not be considered.
