Job Description
- Position: CT Tech
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Key Compliance and Credentialing Requirements
Certifications (must be current and verified)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- BLS – AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as applicable
- Other certifications may be required based on unit and specialty (e.g., NIH Stroke Certification)
Health Documents
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask test (N95 or equivalent) – required for travel staff, updated annually
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – 2 vaccines or positive titer, declination accepted
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella – 2 vaccines or positive titer, declination accepted
- Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted with mask requirement)
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination (required if onsite)
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
Background and History Checks
- Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment
- Education Verification required for all candidates
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Providence requires completion of WorkRamp LMS modules prior to start, including:
- Core modules for all caregivers
- Specialty-specific modules for clinical roles
- Regional and facility-specific compliance training
- Epic training modules required for Providence facilities using EPIC (including Providence Saint Peter Hospital)
- Providence Floating Policy Acknowledgement (due to floating requirement)

- Floating between units is required within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
