Job Description
Seeking a CT Technologist to join the team at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Required Credentials and Compliance Information
Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding. Acceptable certifications include AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military.
- ARRT Certification: Required for onboarding.
- Professional License Verification: Must provide primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.
- MGB Education Verification: Verification of highest level of education required.
- MGB Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state; required for submission.
- MGB Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
- MGB References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above, in relevant skillset; required for submission.
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Must be completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually. No religious exemptions.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Documentation of two doses of each vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred to have record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break. If positive, chest x-ray documentation required.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years.
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required for the skill.
Background & Compliance Checks
- MGB Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days prior to start date, including international searches if applicable.
- MGB Massachusetts CORI: State criminal history check within 30 days prior to start date.
- MGB SSN Trace: Must list addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
- MGB National Sex Offender Check: Conducted within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- MGB Exclusion Checks: Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists; must be completed prior to onboarding.
- MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions.
Additional Notes
- No religious or medical exemptions are accepted for required vaccines or fit testing.
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed using the MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form.
- Documentation must be current and updated as specified to maintain compliance.
This position requires strict adherence to Mass General Brigham’s credentialing, health, and compliance standards to ensure patient and staff safety.
