Travel RN Opportunity - Endoscopy Unit

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

• Unit: Endoscopy
• Beds: 5 pre-op, 5 post-op, 2 procedural rooms
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Staffing: All RN staff
• Equipment: Bedside monitors, EKG machine, endoscopic procedural equipment
• Documentation System: Expanse
• Scheduling: 4-10 hour shifts with on-call weekends and after hours
• Floating: May float to local HCA Endoscopy facilities or pre-op/PACU
• Department Culture: Small, family-oriented with strong team dedication

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Endoscopy procedural experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in endoscopy
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Colonoscopies
• Endoscopies
• ERCPs

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Blue scrubs (light blue preferred)
• Advanced skills: None required
• Patient Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year endoscopy experience
