Travel NICU RN Opportunity - Fort Wayne, Indiana

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU Level 3
Employment Type: Travel
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Call Requirements: None
Floating: Yes, may float to help in other areas but will not take assignments in other units
Block Scheduling: Available as an option


Requirements

  • Valid RN Indiana licensure
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
  • Minimum 2 years NICU Level 3 experience
  • EMR system: Cerner
  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Role Scope

  • Care for a variety of NICU patients ranging from stable feeder growers to critical Level 3 patients
  • Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
  • Unit size: 34 beds
  • Orientation: 2 shifts of 12 hours each
  • Scrub color: Navy blue

Additional Notes

  • Travelers must submit required licenses and certifications to be considered
  • Driver’s license and permanent home address must be included on submission and must match ID
  • Floating may be required to assist other areas within the hospital, but no permanent reassignment to other units
