Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 12 PM to 12 AM
• Days: Saturday and Sunday mandatory
• Optional third 12-hour shift during the week
• Firm August start date (no earlier start accepted)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification and BLS required
• CT registry preferred
• Minimum 1 year CT experience required
• Experience with basic CT scans, CTA scans, CT brain perfusions, trauma scans
• Familiarity with PACS system and GE CT scanner required
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months required

  • If no recent EPIC experience, 10 additional unbillable orientation hours will be added to the contract

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required for RNs and RRTs
• Other certifications as applicable (PALS, NRP, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification) depending on role
• State License verification required
• Tech certification verification (ARRT, RCIS, R.EEGT, ARDMS) as applicable

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Transcript/Diploma required for Cath Lab specialty
• Appearance standards must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• EPIC test-out required for all candidates (except Sterile Processing Tech and certain locations)

  • One attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation
  • Candidates may start with EPIC pending but must complete onsite

Health & Safety Requirements

• Initial physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• N95 Fit Test required within 1 year of start; no PAPR allowed
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Annual TB questionnaire required
• Immunizations required:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or series)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31); no declinations or exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist as applicable to specialty
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required

• Failure to complete required background checks or health documentation on time may result in contract termination
