Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required for all
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – May be required depending on role
• Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC) as applicable to specialty and unit

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) search within 12 months prior to start (required by state law)
• Government issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service
• Proof of I9, E-Verify or attestation required

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
• Immunizations or titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccine or facility-specific declination during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required; medical or religious exemptions require facility-specific forms

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Completion of confidentiality statement
• Completion of EPIC request form
• Disclosure of convictions form
• Background forms specific to Washington State
• Facility-specific COVID-19 exemption forms if applicable
• Flu declination form if declining flu vaccine

Additional Notes

• Suicide prevention training required for multi-state licensed nurses working in Washington (6-hour course)
• Demographic attestation required for multi-state licensed nurses working in Washington
• NURSYS verification required for RN, LPN/LVN, and Advanced Practice providers
• NPI number required for all Physical and Occupational Therapists
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam and color blindness testing as applicable by profession
• Core competency testing or HIPAA acknowledgement required for subcontractors

This position offers a structured weekday night shift schedule with every other weekend coverage, suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology or Cardiology, comfortable working with EPIC EMR, and meeting all required certifications and compliance standards.
