Physical Therapist Travel Job - San Antonio, Texas

Location

City: San Antonio, TX
Facility: Rehab Unit on 3rd floor, Main Hospital Building
Unit: Rehab PT/OT
Number of Beds: 30
Number of Staff: 35
Shift: Day shift only (PT, OT, SLP, Rehab Techs)
Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per therapist
Treatment Time: 5-6 hours per day

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Floating Area: Acute care side of hospital
Dress Code: Olive green scrub top and black scrub pants
Weekend Requirement: 2-4 weekend shifts per month with a flex day during the week

Required Skills and Experience

Must have: Inpatient Rehab / Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) experience
Preferred: Experience with geriatric population and conditions such as stroke, hip fractures, debility, amputees, cardiac issues, and spine surgery
Typical Procedures: 3 hours of therapy daily, 5-7 days a week (1.5 hours PT, 1.5 hours OT, 30 minutes speech therapy if on caseload)

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
Texas PT License
