Job Opportunity: Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech
Location: Madison, Indiana
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Job Summary
The Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using advanced imaging and computer equipment. This role requires in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and radiation safety. The technologist prepares and educates patients, ensures appropriate age care, and maintains strict adherence to infection control and quality protocols. Additionally, they may oversee and mentor students during clinical training.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify exam orders and assess appropriateness using patient data and developmental considerations.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal image quality.
- Operate imaging, computer, and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine the need for additional imaging.
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and image quality standards.
- Educate patients about procedures and respond to questions or concerns in an age-appropriate manner.
- Ensure communication, safety, and care are tailored to the patient’s developmental stage.
- Maintain infection control and quality control standards in all imaging procedures.
- Supervise and train students during clinical rotations, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both CT scanning and General Radiology.
- Accountability for results and commitment to continual improvement in care and service.

- Commitment to quality, caring, and integrity in all aspects of work.
