Unit Name: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Number of Beds: 4
Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Unit Staffing: 1 nurse and 1 tech per shift, plus unit secretaries available

Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends
Floating Policy: May float to Medsurg/Telemetry units
Patient Experience: Bedside reporting required; personal connection with each patient; whiteboards updated each shift
