Position Details

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
• Staffing:

  • 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCT) per shift
  • 1 Unit Secretary (US) during day shift
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend days per contract (weekend nights are Saturday and Sunday)
• Floating Policy: As needed
• Patient Experience Initiatives:

  • Whiteboards
  • Bedside Shift Report
  • Hourly Safety Rounds
  • Use of Key Words

• Patient Population: Oncology
• Procedures Performed: Chemotherapy administration
• Required Skills: Medical/Surgical background preferred
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licenses Required: Registered Nurse License
