Travel RN Opportunity – Endovascular OR

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Specialty: Endovascular Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Details

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: None scheduled; takes weekend call
  • Call Requirements: 1 weekend per month / 9-10 days per month
  • Number of Openings: 1

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
  • Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
  • Preferred Certifications: None specified beyond required

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Endovascular OR experience
  • Surgical Circulator experience in Vascular OR required
  • Surgical Scrub experience preferred

Unit & Patient Information

  • Unit: Endovascular Operating Room / Endovascular Lab
  • Number of ORs: 2 ORs / 1 Endovascular OR
  • Patient Population: Vascular surgery patients
  • Patient Ratios: Procedure area ratios (specific ratios not provided)

Job Responsibilities

  • Circulate and/or scrub during Endovascular procedures
  • Provide direct patient care across all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize care and comfort
  • Function within nursing scope consistent with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility standards

Equipment & EMR

  • Equipment used includes: EMR systems, OR table, patient monitors, suction devices, Altrix, Neptune, ESU, Zebra phone, warming devices, positioning aids, specimen containers and labels, documentation and count sheets, sterile instruments, tourniquet machine, lead aprons, patient transferring devices
  • EMR System: EPIC / Optime

Dress Code

  • Scrub color: Blue (provided by facility)
  • No other attire permitted

Additional Information

  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required for travel period November 1 – April 1 (declinations not accepted)
  • This is an auto-offer position (immediate acceptance expected)
