CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

  • Perform diagnostic CT exams under general supervision, following established policies and procedures.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
  • Interview patients to obtain and update medical history; assess risk factors (medications, pregnancy, psychological indicators).
  • Explain procedures, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up instructions.
  • Set up imaging equipment and acquire images according to the prescribed protocol.
  • Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients.
  • Participate in radiology process improvement activities (quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, patient satisfaction).
  • Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
  • May perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed.
  • Able to take call/standby as required by the department.

Requirements

  • Must have ARRT certification in CT Tech and Radiology.
  • Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 2 years recent CT and Radiology experience, able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray machines.
  • Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer (rapid placement).

Shift Details

  • Night shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.

Contract Length

  • 4 weeks (interpreted as 4 weeks based on contract length value).
