Travel RN Opportunity - Richmond, Virginia
Position Details

Experience & Licensure Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
- Must have an active compact nursing license at submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Unit Information
- Unit: Medical-Surgical (PNCU)
- Number of Beds: 18
- Staffing:
- 13 RNs, 5 LPNs, 25 PCTs
- Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 43 RNs, 2 PCTs (when census is full)
- Night Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 3 RNs, 2 PCTs (when census is full)
- Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
- Equipment Used: Feeding pumps, PEG tubes, IVs, central lines, drains, EKGs
- EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Assist neurologist with bedside lumbar punctures (LPs)
- Central line dressing changes
- Tube feedings
- Wound care
- Foley catheter insertion
