CT Technologist - Kansas City, Missouri

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality CT images.
  • Support Radiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
  • On-call availability is optional.
  • One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment required.
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
  • Must hold a Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by Missouri.
  • CT ARRT Certification required.
  • Current and maintained BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills required.

Required Credentials & Certifications for Onboarding

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Radiology License and Fluoroscopy Permit – Primary source verification within 30 days of start.
  • CT ARRT Certification
  • Prime Education Verification
  • Driver's License, State ID, or Passport
  • Prime OIG Check
  • Prime Drug Screening – Minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start.
  • Color-blind Test – Must be completed annually.
  • Prime Agency Attestation – Completed after all other credentials are uploaded.
  • Prime SAM/EPLS Check – Must search "Excluded Individual" with visible date.
  • Prime Resume
  • Prime References (2)
  • MMR – Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity.
  • Fit Test – Annual respirator fit test required; must be completed prior to start if not available onsite.
  • Hepatitis B – Vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
  • Influenza Vaccine – Required or declination during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31).
  • TB Test – Within one year of start date.
  • Varicella – Vaccination or titer showing immunity.
  • Tdap – Vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
  • Physical/Health Statement – Must state clear to work; completed annually or within 60 days of start.
  • Prime Core Competencies Exam – Required.
  • Prime Criminal Background Check – National check within one year of start.
  • Prime Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification)
  • Prime Specialty Exam – Must score 80% or higher.
  • Signed Job Description
  • DCI/BVP Training – Workplace Violence Prevention training required.
  • EDL Check – Required by Missouri Dept. of Health & Senior Services for elder abuse determination.

Additional Information

  • Name Verification Affidavit is optional if there are discrepancies between credentials.
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster are optional or declination accepted.
  • Positive PPD with negative chest X-ray documentation is optional.
  • Prime Skills Checklist and Badge Photo are optional but may be requested for onboarding.

This position requires a highly qualified CT Technologist with current certifications and licenses, strong clinical experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting.
