- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (client may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment)

- CCRN (Critical Care RN)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Licensure
- Active California RN license required
- Primary source verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification required
Background Checks & Compliance
- Background check covering last 7 years, including:
- Social Security Address Check (last 15 years)
- National Criminal Search
- Sex Offender Search
- Education Verification
- International searches if applicable
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days prior to start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days prior to start
- California Medi-Cal Exclusion Search within 30 days prior to start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months, cleared to work without restrictions
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines
- Tdap vaccine or declination within 10 years (Td not accepted)
- Immunity or vaccination records for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series, titer, or declination)
- Varicella (vaccination or titer; history of disease not accepted)
- Hepatitis C (titer accepted)
- Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination (required annually)
- COVID-19 seasonal vaccine or facility-specific declination (required annually)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no instant tests)
- Fit mask test required (specific approved masks)
Competency & Training
- Annual medication/pharmacology competency exam (minimum 80%)
- Annual general competency exam (minimum 80%)
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and training modules via WorkRamp LMS, including:
- Clinical modules relevant to unit
- Drug Diversion Module (required for all RNs and LVNs)
- Review and sign facility-specific policies and acknowledgments prior to start, including:
- Orientation packet
- Float policy (for ICU/critical care)
- Timekeeping acknowledgment
- Standard of care acknowledgment (for certain units)
- Privacy and security information
- COVID-19 exposure questionnaire
- Parking regulations
- Job description acknowledgment
- Pneumonia program education (for Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED RNs)
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references (one from most recent experience)
- Complete 15 years of work history on application, including locations and any gaps
- Facility-specific photo for badge (passport-like, blue background) within 72 hours of signing
- Annual Medical Release Form
Notes
- Travelers will be floated within ICU/Telemetry units as needed.
- Scrub color policy strictly enforced; no camouflage or character patterns allowed.
- Facility uses Cerner for charting.
- Free parking available for staff.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center with a supportive environment for travel nurses, including acceptance of first-time travelers and locals.
