Description

Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • Valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Level 1 trauma setting preferred

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

  • Fit Test
  • Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing (completed within the last year)
  • Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (proof of booster by Sept 2025, or approved exemption/declination)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination proof or IgG titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (at least first dose prior to start)
  • Influenza Vaccine (proof or declination for 2024-2025 season)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (specific to region)
  • Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
  • Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start, no THC)

Professional & Background Requirements

  • Signed Trinity Code of Conduct Form
  • Completed Trinity I9 form
  • Confidentiality and System Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
  • Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, dated within 30 days)
  • Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma verified)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
  • GSA/OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
  • Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
  • NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days
  • System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
  • OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check within 30 days

Additional Notes

  • All certifications and verifications must be scanned and uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
  • Documentation must include front and back images of certification cards where applicable.
  • Declinations for vaccines may have restrictions based on pediatric interaction requirements and state regulations.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room RNs with required certifications and compliance readiness for a long-term assignment in a Level 1 trauma environment.
