Travel RN Opportunity - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR RN / 727)
Location: 1st Floor, Main Hospital
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 3 RNs, 2 Techs (example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath labs
EMR: Yes
On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among staff
Floating: No floating requirements

Typical Procedures

All types of Cath lab and IR cases
CT-guided biopsies and drainages
Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages

Required Skills & Experience

IR Lab experience
Scrubbing and circulating as an RN in an IR setting

Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse License (RN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Travel RN, local CNA, or sitter preferred

Additional Notes

Candidates without the required IR skills will not be considered
On call duties are mandatory and shared among staff
Unit has 7 staff members total
