Travel RN Opportunity - Interventional Radiology (IR)
Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR RN / 727)
- Location: 1st Floor, Main Hospital
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 3 RNs, 2 Techs (example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
- Night Shift: On call only
- Patient Ratios: Not specified
- Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath labs
- EMR: Yes
- On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among staff
- Floating: No floating requirements
Typical Procedures
- All types of Cath lab and IR cases
- CT-guided biopsies and drainages
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages
Required Skills & Experience
- IR Lab experience
- Scrubbing and circulating as an RN in an IR setting
Certifications & Licenses
- Registered Nurse License (RN)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Travel RN, local CNA, or sitter preferred
Additional Notes
- Candidates without the required IR skills will not be considered
- On call duties are mandatory and shared among staff
- Unit has 7 staff members total
