Labor & Delivery Nurse - Travel Contract

Location: Blanding, Utah
Specialty: Labor & Delivery

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts (6pm - 6am)
Unit: Labor & Delivery / Maternal Medicine / Postpartum / OB
Beds:
- Labor & Delivery Beds: 3
- Postpartum Beds: In-room with 2 overflow rooms
Average Births: 120-130 per year
Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to MedSurg as needed

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of OB nursing experience
Active Utah nursing license
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Experience with FHM system: PeriCalm
Experience with EMR: Athena

Additional Information

Nurse aides/OB tech support shared between MedSurg and L&D units
Scrub color: Any solid color allowed
No in-house OB/Neonatologist; only family practice providers available
No 24/7 Respiratory Therapist; CRNA utilized if needed
Pharmacy available on call

This position is ideal for an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse comfortable with a smaller unit and flexible to float to MedSurg when necessary.
